Automaticity of saccade under damage of brainstem structures
The greatest changes of saccadic parameters can be seen under damages of brainstem
structures (fig. 14). The most significant were the changes in
amplitude and orientation of saccades, as a result, graphic curves have an
acute maximum. Damages of cerebral cortex (frontal, parietal, cervical) have
no significant impact on saccadic automaticity.
