Automaticity of saccades under lesions of a muscle apparatus of eyes
Disturbances in a muscle apparatus of eyes lead to acute changes of saccadic
automaticity (fig. 12). Quite often there are no saccades at all. The most important
is the fact that when saccades disappear completely, visual functions are kept and
are in a satisfactory state.

Fig. 12. Examples of ; 1,2,3 - arbitrary saccades on angle 2angle/grade; 4 - saccades under
utmost leads to the right. Two patients: age - 16, vision - OD - 1,0; OS -1,0.
Mobility of OD and OS accordingly outwards - 30 and 35 angle/grade, inwards - 15 and
15 angle/grade, up - 20 and 30 angle/grade, down - 30 and 30 angle/grade. 3 and 4 -
a man of 40, vision: OD - 1,0; OS - 0.9; mobility of OD and OS accordingly: outwards
- 50-30 angle/grade, inwards - 0 and 15 angle/grade, up - 30 and 20 angle/grade, down
-40 and 40 angle grade. Arrows with a twisting line - muscle dystrophy. The rest
notations are the same as on fig.2.
